Science experience is presented to the children in a practical, relevant context. The concepts which are taught and developed are taken from the National Curriculum 2014.
Systematic inquiry, analysis of problems, formation of ideas, their testing and modification are encouraged through whole class, group or individual investigations and project work, designed to arouse the children’s natural curiosity.
Through our Science curriculum, we aim to encourage our children’s curiosity and love for the world around us. We develop children’s enquiry skills to encourage them to question the world as we know it in a scientific manner. Our teachers plan exciting and engaging lessons, with as many practical and hands-on investigations and activities as possible as well showing children the links into their everyday lives.
